NyroModal — это плагин для jQuery, с помощью которого можно легко создавать модальные окна, обладает большим количеством настроек и может отображать любые объекты HTML. Основные осообенности:

• используя AJAX можно изменять размеры окна
• отображение как единичного изображения, так и галлереи с навигацией
• формы с загрузкой файлов (file upload), так же могут находиться в iframe
• настраиваемый внешний вид и анимация
• заголовок для модального окна
• возможность блокировки только определенного элемента
• валидная верстка (HTML-Transitionnal)

$fx() - это JavaScript библиотека для анимации которая весит всего 3,7 кб.

Любые свойства CSS могут быть изменены, а также :

• можно объединять эффекты
• группировать в цепочки и выполнять параллельно
• задавать различные callback-обработчики, что даст еще большую гибкость

$fx() не является, в полной мере, альтернативой для других известных JavaScript-фрэймворков, но если все, что нужно, от JavaScript'а - это эффекты и анимация, то нет смысла грузить ради этого полноценный фрэймворк.

Через 3 года после первого релиза 14-го января 2006 на BarCampNYC, вышла новая версия jQuery 1.3.

Основные изменения:

• Sizzle: Новый быстрый механизм селекторов.
• Live Events: События теперь можно назначить для ещё не существующих в DOM элементов.
• Переписана обработка событий.
• Переписана вставка HTML.
• Offset Rewrite: супер-быстрое вычисление координат элементов.
• Убрана проверка на браузер: используйте проверку на доступность - это позволит использовать jQuery с любым браузером без проблем в будущем.

Google Reader - наверное, самый удобный клиент для чтения новостей, обновился - стал более "чистым", больше места стало для основного окна.

В связи с вот такой бякой от компании Adobe, обнаруженной на Web - aurum в срочном порядке был изобретен новый метод помещения текста в буфер обмена (Clipboard).

Создаем новый Flash-документ с поддержкой ActionScript 2.0 (или выше) с таким кодом:

в параметре flashvars передаем Flash-мувику значения для текста, который послать в буфер (txt) и картинки для кнопки (bg_img).

PHP Web Stat is an open source statistics application that requires no databases.

It creates its own log files & displays the data according to these information.

To make it run, a code must be installed to webpages. Nice thing about how it works is, the PHP file installed is included via JavaScript and this will make the stats work even if caching is enabled. If the user’s JavaScript is turned off, it will call the PHP file directly.

It has a very simple interface but displays the information needed very well.

Also, several settings can be configured via an admin screen.

simpleCart(js) is a lightweight (10.5 kb) & free shopping cart application for creating a simple yet good looking e-commerce environment in minutes.

It uses cookies to store the shopping basket data, no databases required, and payment is completed via PayPal.

The application is modular with the JavaScript functions included.
